Information Concerning Fremont High School Graduation

Congratulations to our 2026 graduates! We are excited to have graduation at Weber State University in the Dee Events Center. We are anticipating a great graduation with the Class of 2026.

As we prepare for this special event, we are asking for your help in making this a special time for each of our graduates. The graduation ceremony is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion deserving respect from both the participant and the spectator. Weber State will stream the graduation ceremony. It can be accessed at www.weber.edu. Locate Fremont High in the list of graduation ceremonies. This is a convenient opportunity for all family members to access the ceremony.

The Fremont High School Graduation Ceremony is a formal event. Your participation in the graduation ceremony is not mandatory for you to receive your diploma from Fremont High.

Should you choose to participate in the Fremont High School Graduation Exercises, there are a few requirements and stipulations that we insist on:

  • Academic Requirements: All participants will have fulfilled the qualifying academic and attendance requirements according to WSD policy in order to participate in the commencement ceremony.
  • Dress Code: It is suggested that graduates wear BEST DRESS (i.e., collared shirt and tie, long slacks, dress/skirt and blouse, dress slacks and dress shoes… NO FLIP FLOPS)
  • Accessories: High Honor and Honor cords/medals are the ONLY additional accessories that are allowed to be worn with the traditional gown. Fremont medals will be provided to graduates at the ceremony. Additional decoration on cap and gown is not allowed and MUST be removed before entrance to the ceremony.
    • Any tribal, religious, or cultural regalia must be pre-approved prior to graduation day by administration (example: traditional Native American attire).
  • Flowers/Uniforms: NO corsages or uniforms. One (1) floral, culturally appropriate lei will be allowed.
  • Conduct: Graduates are expected to be courteous and dignified during the processional, awarding of diplomas, and recessional.
  • Spectator Etiquette: We expect family members and friends who wish to attend the graduation ceremony to be respectful of all graduates and refrain from using noise-makers, applause, or cheering that would prohibit other graduates' names from being heard by the audience when it is their turn to be honored. Air horns, cowbells, and other noise-makers are strictly prohibited. Violators may be removed from the ceremony.
  • Photography: For your convenience, Bell Photography will take a photo of you with the diploma cover. You will receive information from them.
  • Arrival: Students, please arrive at the Dee Events Center on Monday, May 18th at 8:15 am to pick up a name card outside the tunnel. Line-up will begin at 8:30 am. (The ceremony begins promptly at 9:00 am. Doors will open for guests at 8:00 am.)
  • Diploma Pickup: Immediately following the graduation ceremony, you will pick up your diploma from the tables outside the tunnel. Lines will be arranged in alphabetical order according to your last name.
  • Ownership: The cap, gown, and honor cords are your personal possessions. They do not need to be returned.

Graduation Practice: Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, 12:00 pm at the Dee Events Center. Please be on time. Make arrangements to be present for the entire practice.

We congratulate you on this respectable achievement. We hope that this information will help you in creating pleasant memories of your graduation day.
